Don’t forget the other option: Team Builder for the D3 school you went to, so you can pretend to give press conferences in your school branded polo.

Listen man. I tried my damndest to beat Georgia with Clemson in the season opener on ncaa 03. I’ve earned the right to send opponents to the shadow realm with the tigers running a playbook of all four verts and triple. Woodrow hold me closer tiny Dantzler will rise again.

There’s a lot of “conference long shots” that definitely don’t fit in with the others. Clearly a lot of recency bias in rankings but I digress.

Great article, not sure if I’m picking them for dynasty yet but Vandy at least falls into I think a sub-category which is “this player rules and I want to use him” for Diego Pavia

Don't people normally just play with the team they root for? Full disclosure - I don't play video games, the last one I played was the original Halo. (Although I do currently own copies of both NCAA 2005 and NCAA 2K3 - football & basketball)

I’m a lifelong Pitt fan, but I can honestly say I’ve only ever done a single Pitt NCAA dynasty in all the NCAA I’ve played! It’s one of the reasons I love the game the most, being able to build up a program I don’t really know much about in real life.

I won a national championship as UTEP and almost bought one of their Homefield shirts because of it

Perhaps. I personally like to bounce around a bit, take a few different schools through dynasties.

Awesome article! I’m not sure what makes UTSAs turf retro but I can’t want to see it!

My conditions for using a cop school. One must be satisfied:

* Previously won at Wyoming

* Start as a coordinator

* It's your real-life favorite team

* Idk, you spent $70, do what you want
