My hot take is that there actually is a lot of pressure on IU to win. Unless Cignetti is the greatest coach in CFB history and has ignited the Hoosiers to a never before seen level, this might be their only playoff shot in a long time. Most of the teams in the CFP are likely to be playoff regulars, history shows this might be IU's only shot for a while.

If Sark has half a brain, Texas won’t even throw a pass. Clemsons rush defense is awful.

Is UCONN basketball not just 90s and 00s Florida? I always thought of Sexy Rexy as the Emeka Okafor of the gridiron.

The ratings may not be up at CBB but godfrey talking about no one caring at SEC schools for basketball is not wrong. When teams are good these arenas are filled and electric.

Game days are great because the games take up 2 hours on a weeknight then you go home

Alex saying that Bama had a really good team two years (true, they were some region’s 1 seed) while skating past the fact they made the Final Four last year had me in stitches.

lol I thought I followed up and said something like "they're good every year now." was just referencing when they tabled their basketball arena project!

You did but it was the Final Four piece that got me.

I think the best CFB comp for UConn is Miami? I don’t think anyone considers them a Blue Blood football program, but from 83-02 they won 5 titles and came up short 5 other times.

The other issue, I think, UConn men’s basketball has is that it’s really hard to be considered a Blue Blood when you’re not even the best program in a sport at your school. Geno has won ELEVEN titles in 30 years.

I like the LSU comparison and thought it was a solid one.
