Once again Alex dripping with condescension for people who may think differently than him. To claim that a school ought to be held out of the playoff for "ideological" reasons is outrageously offensive. Imagine the venom Alex would have for a member of the media who claimed Columbia shouldn't be allowed in the NCAA tournament because of it's response (or lack thereof) to pro-Palestinian protests? Or UCLA or Cal or Michigan or etc. shouldn't be allowed in the CFP because of it's administration's support for lgbt rights? God forbid there is ideological diversity among college institutions.
1) Didn't say Liberty should be "held out" of the Playoff. Said I hope someone beats them, which is my prerogative as a fan of the sport and as someone who'd like to watch a competitive game instead of what we saw against Oregon last year.

That was the second reason you gave, which I fully agree with. I also would like to see a competitive game.

I do not. As a matter of ideological diversity, people should be free to root against whoever they wish. And you are free to not like it!
