Guys, Missouri fan here, who doesn’t think we should be a play off team and who is not super high on Eli drinkwitz but come on, we fucked around with auburn because our starting qb was in the hospital most of the game. Oklahoma had to get a lucky break to go up 23-16 on us with a fumble recovery for a touchdown down. Which we returned back to them to win 30-23. We went to double over time against a vandy team that beat Alabama the next week and that only happened because drinkwitz is an idiot who mismanaged the end of the first half. Boston college is down 27-14 and scores with less than 4 minutes left in the fourth to make it a one score game, also they accidentally ran a fumble rooski to score their second touchdown. We’re a team that should finish between 8-10 wins acting like we should be like 4-8 isn’t fair. This season has been disappointing sure but we’re not as bad as you’re making us out to be.
hey, that's fair. i think i would feel similarly if i heard me talking about Mizzou this year. I would just rebut you in this sense: A lot of this is about framing. This year I have tended to talk about Mizzou re: a high preseason ranking and its spot in the Playoff picture. That in and of itself means you've cleared a certain bar. Some of that framing is because of last year's great team, some is because of committee habits, and a small bit is because the head coach cut a promo after the last game in which he urged all of us to consider Mizzou relative to the Playoff.
Yeah, like I said I’m not super high on Eli and in particular his antics. I do think that’s a fair rebuttal. Personally I recalibrated my expectation for the season after the Vanderbilt game, cooks regression has been alarming to say the least. Furthermore I was officially off the Eli train after the tamu game, that was coaching malpractice. The only rebut to your rebuttal I’d say about Missouri’s national standing is I noticed a trend in July and August of people beginning to dismiss Missouri out right, many national media, and one Godfrey, saying they were ranked too high and would finish the season unranked. To me it feels like if Missouri was given a different helmet the narrative would be about how resilient the team has been given the bad luck and injuries etc. but because it’s Missouri and the media was already picking them for disappointment in August the narrative has stayed negative. But that’s probably just the fan in me being petty. Also we’re missing out starting center and lg going into Saturday. Very good chance South Carolina eats. Huge fan of you alls, I do think y all bring the most balanced and honestly conversation to the sport.
Hey Alex, when y'all were discussing Underwood possibly flipping from LSU to Michigan I thought y'all would bring up the 800 pound gorilla in the room. Please go ahead and look up who is on the coaching staff.
Not expecting it, but if the Hawgs pull the upset they are gonna tear Reynolds Stadium down. Atmosphere at the 2021 game was electric and the horns weren't even good yet. Think a lot of Arkansas fans, myself included, consider that the highlight of a great 2021 season, given that the A&M win was in jerryworld and the LSU win was in Baton Rouge. Like Godfrey said, Arkansas fans are used to one-sided rivalries and can keep the hate up just fine
Cowboys fans are also tired of how much we get talked about. It’s not even good discussion either. Condolences to everyone that we aren’t even interesting this year
we do not typically do video versions of the full episodes these days because people have not seemed interested in them, and producing them delays publication of the show, but seriously, let us know if that is a thing that you are really interested in having
No problem. I don’t feel strongly about needing to watch it. Godfrey often makes comments about being on film so wasn’t sure if I was just missing it somewhere.
Scheme School, on the other hand, should be on video. Thanks for the prompt response!
Can't Inherit The Wind, but you can inherit some sweet-ass tires from Nokian!
I think Michigan State would be the northernmost FBS school with a grass field
MSU is indeed the northernmost grass field, big shout out to world of turf, highlight of many Spartan’s education
This is the first that came to my mind as well

Appreciate you being here! Interested to see how this weekend goes.
Like I said probably bad for Missouri but I’ll be interested in what y’all’s take is when I listen to the hurry up!

[looks] you've gotta be kidding me man

Maybe I’m missing it or have a setting turned off?? but are these no longer on video?
