Hey guys, I could be misremembering this but didn’t Don Brown partially take the UMass job because if he put in X amount of years he would qualify for a pension from the state of Massachusetts as a state employee? (He had previously had 2 other stints at UMass). If that is accurate, was he fired BEFORE he qualified for the pension?
What's bothered me about the whole IU playoff discussion (and I'm a Purdue guy, so I'm should be anti Hoosiers) is that the whole argument against seems to be "look at the SEC's reputation, look at our motto, watch our commercial, look at Nick Saban's record." Yes, it would be great to see how IU would do against an SEC schedule, but the 2nd tier of teams in that conference didn't play anyone OOC (look at UT, OU, SC, and Ole Miss schedules) so we can't know, and the non Texas/UGA/Bama teams that did test themselves didn't exactly blow everyone's doors off. You also have a lot of fan bases in that conference who are Indiana's who think they are Tennessee's, if IU makes the CFP, that gives hope to the Arkansas/Mizzou types.
I'm pretty sure I have seen Jeanty hit pose in the past two weeks. My strongest inclination was that it was against SJSU last week but it might have been week 11.
Did y'all just mean he needs to hit it again, ya know, once more with feeling?
All respect to Mr Hunter, but I'd personally love to see a stellar player from the definitive G5 school grab it. Shame it's a zero-sum contest between them this year.
To me Lane’s thing was more so a 10-2 SEC team not wanting to end up in the CCG for fear of losing, falling to 10-3 and missing an at large which they (theoretically) would’ve gotten if they hadn’t made it and hadn’t played that game. I think that’s still quite stupid (you’re not guaranteed to be in at 10-2, what if you clinch a bye, etc.) but is a little more defensible than teams don’t want the bye
I was going to message this exact thing, kind of proves the point that it slips out of people's minds quickly. Still would've loved to see SJSU UNLV Champ game

As a NC State fan, I don’t consider this a lost season if Bailey sticks around. He’s grown a LOT during this season.
Little slip up there with the “same yankee stadium” venue from 1946.
Yes, biggest IU football game ever.
Godfrey, the folks who still fly P&G stars and bars are such a weak-kneed munch.
By the way, I am currently listening to SEC FB Live. Tiger Stadium was better before the south endzone expansion.

On the part about BCSing in the Mountain West and how nobody cares… Im pretty sure the exact same thing happened last year
It did! Lapse of memory by me. And presumably by some of the public lol
