I don't understand how SMU hasn't effectively clinched a spot. Losing the ACC ship and being left out will be penalizing them for playing. Not that I put it beyond the committee to once again screw the ACC in favor of their beloved SEC, but if they do, the ACC should get rid of the championship game.
Man. The Clemson unwillingness to play offense in the second half after the scripted opening drive was brutal. Doesn’t help to let a minute of clock run down with the coots inside the 20 with less than 3 minutes to go. Also doesn’t help to leave in your banged up tailback with lead feet. And getting under center to run a trick play at midfield when a touchdown would’ve ended the game. Two inexplicable trick play attempts in the last two home games that cost them the game. Also doesn’t help to leave 3 points on the board in the first half and then have a top drill pick by a *transfer* player to end it. A perfect microcosm of Clemson’s management issues both organizationally and in-game.

I am just not sure the committee will give an at-large to the ACC. Not saying they *shouldn't.*
I know it’s very sad to say, but as a Michigan fan, the last two weeks made the season all worth it lol
not every year is going to be a nationally competitive year, but apparently every year can be a year where you ruined someone else's day

We say this constantly throughout the year. However, it feels like this season went by in a snap. It makes me a little sad inside.
Same. But hey, good news, the postseason takes like five months now
