Maybe I’m just an Oregon State fan and should feel lucky that our games get noticed at all, but hell if I’m not going to advocate for them..
I appreciate what Godfrey has to say about us and WSU, the extra time y’all took on the season preview episode, and that there are a lot of games to cover with only so much time on these recap shows, but here’s the deal. When you ONLY speak of our games in terms of who lost and not a word about who won or why… that isn’t fair or fun to hear.
OSU beat and blanked a road team for the first time since 1976. An offense-minded coach scored 0 at home against OSU. Comparisons to defense minded Hoke and nonsensical statements about being unable to score because of the magic of coastal sunshine… I dunno man. Not a word about us other than this was “essentially a conference game,” which it wasn’t. We’re not renewing the MW scheduling agreement for 2025, either.
I know there are 134 schools to notice and it’s all supposed to go fast. But I’m still gonna advocate for flowers for my team when they do well. Especially since, as y’all said a few weeks ago, we pretty much got nuked this year with returning production, staff, and conference uncertainty.
Did I miss the UCF comments? Granted, not a great game but being on top of the college football rushing totals seems worthy of a drive by comment? Be well SZD fans and SZD staff!
This just in; the transfer quarterback from a historically bottom feeding ACC team might not be the guy for the big time job. Had a hot half a season, but that should not outweigh the entirety of his life up to that point. Saw it last year with Hartman. Now Leonard. Good players don’t go to wake or Duke.
I might be very biased but I think everyone should not underrate North Texas vs Tulane or Memphis for potential G5 Game of the Year. North Texas will be scoring lots of points. Unfortunately so will the opposing offenses.
Also would just like to shout out Stephen F Austin for having a frustratingly good defense. Will be monitoring Colby Carthel to see if he is ever hired by an FBS school. Fell in love with his “East Texas Grit”
I have noticed some oddities in the ND broadcasts on NBC the past three years. I don't think the fanbase has always been well served, although they have some very good people working on that team.
Guys! It was queued right up for you. This week’s hurry up should have been called “The Suck of the Irish”.
Well congrats, I am now changing this. Full credit to you.
The challenge will be to now repeat the rhyme of weeks 1 and 2 for 13 more weeks. I am not sure we can do it.
That’s well done.

You know, a 45 minute podcast played at 1.5 speed is 30 minutes.

Is Jeanty a legitimate Heisman candidate?

Ha, I deleted to clarify my post. Seems like you had it anyway.
Given how valuable Notre Dame is to NBC, you would think NBC would be all over this.
