I think an understated part of why this has been a great CFB season is great games Friday night. I’ve actually fallen asleep on my couch and missed a few good endings.
One thing I’m hung up on as an Alabama fan is the “all Alabama has is Ryan Williams” comment. Based on the targets, I think Milroe only believes he has Williams, but there were quite a few places with other receivers open where Milroe still went to a covered-up Williams - seemed more like a read/decision-making issue last night
Thought DeBoer's comments after the game were interesting and a bit dishonest most likely. Got asked if they were forcing it to him, and he said (more or less) that it was just a matter of the progressions leading to him with a desire to intentionally get him involved (obviously). There are not a lot of receivers who are really the right guy to throw the ball to 20 times in a game.
Appreciate the response and totally agree - Williams is obviously someone you want and need to involve greatly, but every defense knows that too and Bernard and the TEs have also been quite effective when targeted

Miami/Louisville being described as having "more twists and turns than a Planet of the Apes movie" is a Certified Kirshner Klassic
underrated trilogy
